This is a view taken from the Slough Road looking south-west over Long Bridge towards Eton College Chapel. Long Bridge or Fifteen Arch Bridge as it was known crosses Colenorton Brook. Six of its central arches were destroyed by a flood in 1809 shortly after the present work was drawn. The present bridge dates from 1843. The roof of Provost's Lodge and associated buildings are visible in front of the chapel.
