    This drawing dates from her stay in Rome between 1775 and 1798. The Convent stands at the narrowest point of the valley of the Aniene near Vicovaro about thirty miles east of Rome. It was a popular site for artists - Richard Wilson painted almost exactly this view. This may have been drawn in the summer of 1779 when Knight was staying at Castelgandolfo
